Keyholding Service
Our SIA-licensed security teams provide an efficient, cost-effective and dependable keyholding service including 24/7 alarm response.
Alarm activations rarely happen at convenient times. When an alarm is triggered out of hours, our keyholding service saves you the time, expense and potential risks associated with managing the response yourself.
Keyholding and Alarm Response
CSG provides a fully accredited, SIA-approved keyholding and alarm response service. When an alarm is activated, a security team at our alarm receiving centre assesses the cause and initiates the appropriate response.
Where required, our mobile security patrol unit can attend to secure the premises and provide an SIA-approved security presence.
A professional keyholding service not only saves you the time and effort of dealing with false alarms, it also eliminates the risk of untrained staff encountering an intruder.
It’s an adaptable service, so call the CSG team on 0844 561 0578 for a chat about your requirements, or send a message.
Keyholding Service: How Does it Work?
Although many alarms turn out to be false, every activation must be treated as a potential security breach. We’re here to take the job of managing this off your shoulders.
At CSG’s alarm receiving centre, trained responders take instant action every time an alarm is triggered. They filter it for false activation and, based on the cause of the alarm, initiate the right response. For example, they can:
- Liaise with your appointed representative
- Where required, send a SIA-accredited mobile patrol unit to attend the premises
- Whenever necessary, initiate a blue light response
Full reporting — either immediately or the following day — will confirm when and why the alarm was activated, and which actions were taken in response.

Additional Keyholding Services
CSG offers a range of keyholding services. They can easily be adapted and blended according to your own requirements, as well as the property’s security risks.
For example, keyholding services can be available at specific times of the day, during the night, at weekends or at set periods. Alongside keyholding and response, the service can include:
- Property maintenance checks, inside and outside
- An open and lock-up service
- Water system drain down to comply with insurance requirements
- A response to specific types of alarm signals
